French percussionist, player of the bizarre zarb and founder of the minuscule label Transes Européennes, in the mid-1990s, with circa 30 releases in all, most of them contemporary Jazz stradling world-music and dance-music, but also CDs of music by Georges Aperghis and Jean-Pierre Drouet. Cueco is also the composer and artistic director on one of those discs, “Sol, Suelo, Sombra Y Cielo” (Transes Européennes TE 023, 1999)
